Digital prints and live performances with projections.

This series of large format digital prints is made from images captured during live performances where long exposure times were used to turn 3-dimentional movements into photographs of drawings. Gestures were made in the dark with a match in each hand, the movement was recorded with a camera and the resulting image was projected on a screen immediately after each drawing was made.

This project used fire, light, smoke and under water ink to explore ephemeral mark making, persistence of vision and body movement.

I recorded and produced the music as Cynders.
